Milked Women

Performance art installation in Cambridge; Milked Woman, on 8th March 2025. Created by Stephanie Lane, who also organised 20 matching installations in other locations simultaneously. The performance challenges the 'inhumane' treatment of cows in the dairy industry, by superimposing the experience of female cows on women. It asks the question; if we would not do this to human beings, why would we impose this level of cruelty on animals?
